For one thing, my custom pretty blog face is about to expire and I don’t want to repay for it LOL.

2ndly..   I felt it was time for a new blog.     I don’t feel like I’m going to snap anymore so I figured time to move on.     Plus.. I figure with as big of news as we have we might as well make a new blog!   So…  click on the link to continue to follow us.    It’s not all pretty yet but I haven’t had time to play with it.

apparently Rohan’s already taking over the role as he-man protector. The past few weeks the kids have all slept together in the girls bed. Rohan acted like he wanted to sleep in his own bed tonight and the girls wouldn’t let him.. “MOM.. we are only brave enough to sleep without the night light now cause he’s …WITH US!! It’s SCARY without him in here!!” teehee

It bugged us to be drinking water laden with chlorine, pharmaceuticals, fluoride, etc..   but most filters don’t seem to take that junk out of the water.    We’d been seeing these tall metal water holder things at friends houses each shabbat and were curious as to what they were.   Then a friend of mine posted that they bought a Berkey water filter.  Turns out THATS what the tall metal container was LOL.

These filters can be used with straight lake or pond water.. they are THAT good.   The water tastes amazing too!

2? weeks ago I guess several little abandoned kitties were discovered scared and starving on the side of the road.. we ended up with 2 of the flea infested little things, my sister got 2, and my parents kept one. They are sweet little things and the kids have really enjoyed them.

We had an amazing weekend!   Every shabbat the past few weeks I’m happily surprised.  Not only to have found a group of people who love their Lord so much that all they want to do is talk and learn about him (8 hour shabbat gatherings where nothing but Bible is discussed?  really?  I didn’t know that existed!)  But not only that but to find myself craving and enjoying that.     I don’t want to down the folks at where we use to attend because it was me too!  I didn’t stand up from the service and want to discuss Bible either.   So much has changed in my heart over the past few months.   I’m no longer happy to just sit through a 1 hour service and then instantly hop up and start talking about anything BUT scripture and YHVH!   How did we reach that point?   HOW did our hearts become so hard that we felt it’s a bit of an effort to make it through a 1 hour service 3 times a week and then the second it’s over NOTHING about bible is mentioned?   When you get-together with friends it’s everything but Bible.  Sure, there may be a bible study once a month that lasts for a little bit but is that enough?  If that’s all we are doing is that a sign that our hearts just are NOT right?  That the spirit of YHVH is NOT in our lives?   For me it was not there.   I praise YHVH that my life has changed and I can see myself growing closer to him!    I delight in his word and his law, but I still see area’s in my life that must be molded to better show his life in me.   My prayer to YHVH is that he will guide me and work in my life to make me more closely reflect him.

This past weekend we camped out with several families in YHVH.. for 3 days from sunset (well.. we did emerge closer to 8) to sundown (or more like midnight) it was nothing but talking about the word.. Thank you for leading my heart to a place that rejoices in that!

The trip went awesome and we loved it.   The drive there and back was great.. now we are readjusting to home.    I still need to unpack though so I guess I really should get busy.

I left my good camera at home and just brought along the new video camera toy.    Sure was handy!  Now to just get the videos off of it in a few mins.

Well, in a week we leave on our vacation.   I still have a TON I have to do before then!    It’s going to be so much fun to get away again.   We’ll have 4 days of driving (2 there and 2 back) so that should be interesting LOL.    It will be nice to have 4 full days just to devout to studying the Word though.    It’s hard to figure out how to balance studying and work otherwise.. at least that way there isn’t a decision between the two LOL.

Anyway.. Monday I have um 12 skirts to sew.   I’ll probably only do 8 on Monday.. the 8 easy one’s.  And leave the 4 harder skirts (I say harder but they are still quite simple) for tuesday.   I’m just making simple elastic waist skirts for the girls to wear to match the shirts I had made for Disney.

We plan to do 2 days at epcot, 2 days at magic kingdom, and only 1/2 day at hollywood studios (my kids haven’t seen hardly any of those movies so they won’t get much out of it) and only 1/2 day at animal kingdom.    We are taking them to BBB on Monday to get their hair put up in a bun w/ a crown and they get to wear a fancy dress that day.    I’m thinking about making a sash for each of them that says I’m a princess, daughter of the King.    They are wearing a dress that day that is similar to sleeping beauty.. but they’ve never even seen that movie LOL.    Oh well.. they just realize it’s a pretty princess dress.   From what I remember sleeping beauty is kinda dark and scary in places.   Really once you think about it it’s amazing how 1- most disney movies have no mother figure, are dark and scary, and even though my kids have never seen most of them still manage to love them LOL.    Oh well.. I love me some mickey mouse.

Oh, and I made some barbeque meatballs tonight in preparation for tomorrow but didn’t have half the supplies I normally use in them.   So I just added random things and they are SOOO good.  to bad I can’t remember how I made them!  One of these day’s I’ll learn from that mistake.

We went down to the Bosque river last shabbat and had some fun.
