Suzy Snaps

Well, I think Lorien finally felt a bit better today. She felt HORRIBLE yesterday which made MY day extra hard as well. Rohan has had a touch of the cold and a cough as well so it’s been a bit trying around here the last few days. Hopefully it leaves us soon.

It’s still COLD here.. I’m ready for it to warm up a bit more! The girls are getting stir crazy in the house and I don’t think it’s helping the kiddo’s runny noses and coughs w/ this weather either.

Rohan is still being his sweet little self. He’s such a cuddly little thing but growing SO fast.

Brianna has been wanting to make an apple pie for quite awhile so we made one today to take to mom and dad’s house for dinner. they had a blast making it

And, on a diff. subject.. alot of people ask me if it’s worth buying a nicer camera.  (my answer is only if you really enjoy taking pictures already).. but IMO you also need a good editing program if you want to make the most of your pictures.  In fact, I’d probably get the editing program before I upgraded to a DSLR camera.

Well, Lorien is sick Hope we didn’t give it to any of you church folks yesterday! I’ve did that several times.. they act sick the night before, the seem fine when they wake up.. so I take them to church and then that night they are REALLY sick. Lorien ended up sleeping w/ us all night last night because she kept waking (which she still did w/ us so I didn’t get any sleep) and she woke up w/ a really high fever (well.. for my kids anyway, they never get a fever!) I’m not sure what it was but I know it was probably above 100. Thankfully some med’s brought it back down. She’s got a horrible sounding couch and a sore throat as well. Icky stuff. I’m just praying the rest of us don’t get it! Esp. not little Rohan, he already has the sniffles.. we sure don’t need to add this as well.

We were supposed to meet a friend today at the museum but had to cancel it… hopefully we can go Thursday instead. We haven’t went in a few weeks so I know they would enjoy it.

In other news… The pregnancy weight is GONE as of this morning!! YEAH!!! Now to just work on the 20 lbs I gained in the 2 months BEFORE I got pregnant. I’m glad I’m working on that now and not the pregnancy weight though. If I’d just gained the normal amount I’d have had it off 10-15 pounds ago. Oh well.. at least I enjoyed eating while pregnant LOL. I guess I’ll miss going to the gym today though w/ Lorien sick. I’d hate to expose the lady that watches them at the gym to something.

Oh, and it’s been COLD here lately!  Our heater has been running constantly for a few days now and it’s set on 68!   (I know.. that’s not very cold but for Texas?? Our heat hardly ever has to run!)  It’s been in the 30’s several days lately.

Rohan is already almost 9 weeks old.. where does the time go and why couldn’t it go this fast when I was pregnant?

He keeps me hopping but he is an amazingly good baby. Most days he will just lay somewhere for a good 30 min’s happy as can be.. not in the bouncer, or swing, or anything.. just on a blanket on the floor w/o making any noise while I clean. We were very blessed this time around! Being the third and having a middle kiddo like Lorien we really need that too. Lorien is a big enough handful to make up for Brianna and Rohan though bless her heart.

Brianna never seemed to have the terrible two’s… with Lorien I know where that name came from LOL.  What a little handful!   Here new thing is coloring on the walls… she’s gotten in trouble for it at LEAST 30 times this month alone I’d guess…   I think she thinks it’s worth getting in trouble for or something.

In other news.. I’m excited about Jeff and Crystal having another baby   A new little cousin!  Mabye it will be a boy and Rohan will have a playmate.   Can’t wait till she finds out in 2 weeks!

He has already changed so much it’s amazing!  He’s now grinning and has laughed at use a few times this week.   He’s also cooing now   It’s SO cute.

A child-friendly HEALTHY cafe like panera bread or something but with a play area so your kids like it as much as they like icky mcdonalds. the best of both worlds
