Anyone know of any good homeschool websites/ forums? I’m starting to feel a bit more overwhelmed again now that we are actually getting close to starting. What are your fav. curriculum’s?

I love that it makes it easier to gain information and keep up with friends.. but a lot of context is lost when you are just reading what someone is saying instead of hearing tone of voice/ carrying on a conversation/ etc. In that note.. I realized that my last post on homeschooling could be taken the wrong way.. so I’ll add a disclaimer here LOL. My reason for homeschooling is not for the education aspect.. and I’m not expecting my kids to be “smarter” or excell because they will be homeschooled LOL (I’m just hoping they do well) I have had more than one person tell me to my face though that homeschoolers CAN’T get as good of an education as public schooled students because they aren’t being taught by a professional teacher. So, I thought I’d point out the stats so it might ease some people’s minds out there that are thinking about homeschooling. 
Apparently that is a fairly common myth about homeschooling that seems to go around. I’m not sure why but it’s out there. So, I thought I’d dispel that “myth” It goes around enough that I even bought into it at one time.. seeing the figures helped ease my mind that my kids could learn what they needed in homeschool.
Anyway.. hope that made sense.. didn’t want anyone to assume that I thought my kid would be smarter because they were homeschooled.
