The girls had fun taking jumping pictures at the park today when I meet Crystal to pick up Lorien.

not jumping but too cute not to share! I think I got some of Mason and Autumn too but haven’t got to those yet..

So it took about 3 hours to make all 4 dresses. I had just enough extra of the main fabric to make a tiny one for Delana’s sister who is due in about 5ish? weeks.
By the time I finished and bathed them though I had no light left.. and by the time I got my flash they wouldn’t take pictures. SO.. here are a few bad one’s LOL

My poor blog has been neglected. Been horribly busy lately! Well, I say horribly but I guess “funly” busy would be more accurate.. but I don’t think that’s a word.
Anyway. Since we got back from vacation we’ve been hopping around everywhere.
We had a weekend meeting at church lately which was so much fun. Very much enjoyed it!
I’ve been busy planning our next trip. We are going back to Disney World at the end of April next year. For those of you that don’t know me.. I’m a huge dork who LOVES Disney world. LOVES it. I would seriously go there every year for my vacation if my husband would tolerate it LOL. However, he’s kind enough to put up with it for me about once every 4 years and that’s about his limit.
We are staying at the Polynesian resort this time around. SO excited to stay in a deluxe resort there! I could seriously go on for about 3 long posts about Disney plans but I’ll spare you for the moment (expect a long boring one about it later though LOL)
Kimberly (my sister) was due with her little girl yesterday but the little stinker is still a no-show. Lets all hope for Kimberly’s sake that being late is the only personality trait she shares with her cousin (my son Rohan who can be a royal terror) Actually in Rohan’s defense he’s become quite a sweetheart at home again.
He still hate church with a passion so that’s still a struggle but he’s a delight at home now. He’s such a quiet little dude. My girls could talk the head off a random stranger about even more random topics. Rohan will go all day long without saying anything.
He pretty much asks for a drink and his dog-dog and then quietly and happily plays all day. Thankful to have my sweet Rohan back again! He was amazingly good until he hit 4 months old and then screamed 24 hours a day until he was about 14-15 months old.. then started winding back down and he’s nice again. Rough few months though! He’s always getting a bump or scrap though.. he’s such a boy LOL. Yesterday he came into the house with a skinned head from where he fell on the patio.. a slightly bloddy lip, and grass hanging out of his nose. Was quite pitiful.
The girls are both having sleepovers today (well, last night actually) Brianna had Delana over to spend the night and Lorien spent the night with Autumn. I think both groups stayed up really late and woke up early so I’m guessing we have crabby kids tonight at church.
They are having a total blast over here though.
Also, starting to build my father in law a simple website.. something diff. to stretch my brain a bit.
In other news I’m in the mood to sew again.
I finally ordered my missing sewing machine part about 3 months ago.. and it took 2 months to come in. ANNOYING!! So, I made Lorien a few skirts out of pants I had found at garage sales while looking at patterns and such. Bought a few patterns but decided to start back into sewing with the easy pillowcase dresses.
made Brianna a trial one last night out of fabric I got for 2.50 a yard at Walmart (and it only takes a yard so cheap dress!) Anyway.. I found this great tutorial on them. I think you could sew this in 30 min’s from start to finish pretty easily.

here’s Brianna’s easy one.

So easy and fun to make!! I like quick satisfaction projects.

And.. here’s the other fabric waiting to be turned into projects.. hopefully you see all of this sewn up soon.

Today’s project will help find out how quickly you can really make those pillowcase dresses. Brianna and Delana thought they needed matching dresses. So, I bought this fabric for them today to try and make both of them and Lorien matching dresses to wear tonight to church. It’s 1:00 now.. will I have time between meals and keeping an eye on the kids? We’ll see

It took forever for them to decide on fabric. FOREVER. It didn’t help that their taste in fabric is umm.. questionable to say the least. I had to “help” steer them away from about 24 choices before I “helped” them decide on this one. I found out where my old fav. fabric store in town moved too and went there.. they have a gorgeous selection.. all designer prints etc and somehow the girls would manage to find the 20 ugliest fabrics they have in the store. I thought this was quite cute though.

In other news… I found some great blogs.
Love her patterns here and I have some of them .. She has tutorials to make the princess dresses.. using one of her patterns I already have! I’m going to make the girls a cinderella dress and a belle dress to wear to Disney so this is perfect.
